AN: Chapter One contains SMUT. Don't own Hugh and Lisa ... I plan to one day - not.
Excitement was buzzing around the lounge as the tired cast members traipsed into the room, all looking exhausted from the endings of the season finale. Hugh and Robert were still dressed in their outerwear for when they had finished the final scenes. Jen still wore her wedding dress, too taken with it to change into her casual wear. Jesse, Peter, Omar and Olivia followed, all dressed in the wedding get-up too. They sank into chairs, all closing their eyes in relaxation.
“Whew,” Lisa entered the room a few moments later and grabbed a bottle of Coke from the counter besides Jen and gulped down half of it, then closed her eyes. Hugh looked up slightly at her entrance, his eyes were laughing, but his face remained neutral.
“Little intense there Lisa?” He asked, referencing to the scene they had finished an hour ago on her set office.
“God,” Lisa dropped her head into her hands, “that was horrible. Don’t remind me,” she glared at Hugh, “I’m serious, I was going to cry.”
“That’s sucks,” Robert looked up, “Cuddy cries too much anyways. She has to be more like you in real life.” Jen looked up, fiddling with her veil, which she now held in her hands.
“Well, they already share their first names, the fact that they’re both single, they both want a family …” she trailed off, seeing Lisa’s now empty Coke bottle headed towards her head, “shit. Sorry Lisa,” she smiled innocently, “I didn’t say anything.”
Olivia leaned closer to Lisa, “Lisa does not have a major crush on Hugh Laurie.” She giggled into Lisa’s ear, earning herself a righteous shove off the counter.
“Damn it Olivia,” Lisa snapped, “tell the whole cast will you?” She added sarcastically. Olivia beamed, reaching for the cane Hugh used as House.
“No, not really idiot!” Lisa grabbed Olivia by the shoulders and forced her down onto the couch besides the refrigerator, “If you dare, I might just have to kill you.” She sighed then sank down besides Hugh, resting her head on his shoulder as he wrapped a friendly arm around her shoulders.
“If you tell the cast what?” Robert asked, looking up from his place besides Omar and Peter, both who had turned on the TV and were watching old reruns, ironically, of House.
“God, people,” Hugh snapped, reaching for the remote, “I hate hearing myself talk, turn it off. Besides, don’t we already know what happens? Season One, Episode Two – kid has some mutated virus, has some surgery, big whoop. Case closed. What channel is this anyways?”
“USA,” Peter replied, watching transfixed as their on-screen selves discuss the case.
“God Peter,” Jen smiled briefly, seeing her own self pop onto the screen, “We know what the damn episode is. Now,” she turned to Lisa, “what was Olivia saying…and who is that?” She nodded towards the door, seeing a woman standing outside of it, looking partly upset and partly annoyed. Hugh glanced up from his place besides Lisa, and narrowed his eyes.
“Shit,” he muttered, and ignoring the stares of the person outside, his kissed Lisa’s cheek and made a beeline for the door, slamming it on his way out.
“Wife,” Robert replied to the unanswered question in the room as Hugh and the woman made their way down the hall, “Jo, is what Hugh calls her, real name is Joanne though.” Lisa felt a pang of sadness, and she nodded, turning away from the others, rising at the same time and heading to the opposite side of the room, getting out a book from her purse. She opened it and buried her nose in it, but no one missed the silent tears slipping down her cheeks as she stared at the pages.
“Gee,” Olivia whispered, sitting in front of Lisa so no one could see her tears, “that much huh?” She smiled, “Lisa, trust me, Hugh likes you, I know he does.” Looking up, she ignored Lisa’s death glare, “Who here thinks that Hugh likes Lisa and would consider her as more than a friend?”
Everyone nodded and chorused their agreement to Olivia, but Lisa shook her head, “Hugh’s married, honestly guys, I shouldn’t be after a married man, even if I do love him.”
“So you do love him!” Robert cried happily, clapping his hands, “Pay up Omar, you lost.”
“No,” Omar snapped, “That wasn’t the bet. The bet was that Hugh likes Lisa too, we have no solid proof of that.”
Lisa shrugged, “What ever, can I just tell you about the trip? There’s four rooms, with two double beds in each. We leave tomorrow, by then, decide whom you’re rooming with.” Olivia and Jen nodded, and so did Jesse and Robert.
“Olivia and I will,” Jen spoke first.
“So will Robert and I,” Jesse added, elbowing Omar in the side.
“Fine, I’ll go with Peter,” Omar looked up, “You mind rooming with Hugh?”
Lisa shrugged, “Whatever, I don’t really care,” she wiped her eyes as the door opened. Hugh entered, Jo following closely, her eyes narrowed.
“We got the plans for tomorrow!” Jen bounced over to Hugh, “And room arrangements,” she paused, “you’re sharing with Lisa, if you don’t mind.” She laughed, seeing Hugh’s expression, “Don’t worry, you have two beds in the room.”
“Hugh is rooming with Lisa?” Jo spoke, her eyes meeting Lisa’s teary ones, “I’m not sure about that.”
“Honestly Jo,” Hugh turned to face her, “I’m not going to have sex with her just because we did on the show.”
“It wasn’t even real sex, it was hallucination sex!” Robert added, looking rather happy and out of place.
“Yes,” Hugh muttered, “you high on happy pills or something Robbie?” He turned to Jo, “It’s not up to you to decide what room I sleep in. I’m perfectly capable of making my own choices, in case you haven’t noticed.” Striding over to a black laptop case, he reached inside and pulled out a stapled packet. “Sign if you want, you know you’ve had this coming for a while.”
Jo stared at Hugh, her eyes wide, “You’re divorcing me? Because I’m worried you and Edelstein are going to sleep together?” She narrowed her eyes, flicking them between her livid husband and a crying Lisa, “She likes you, but that doesn’t mean you divorce me because of it.” Jo turned her attention to Lisa, but her eyes never left Hugh’s face, “God, get over it, Hugh isn’t going to kiss you or anything.”
“I’m not?” Hugh challenged Jo, his eyes tearing away from hers to look at Lisa, “Who’s going to stop me?” He turned, reaching down and tilting Lisa’s head towards his, glancing once more at Jo’s face, he pressed his lips to hers and pulled Lisa onto her feet. Lisa’s arms went around Hugh’s neck and she held him against her, her eyes partly closed. Hugh’s left arm held her waist, while he ran the fingers of his right hand through her hair. When Lisa parted her lips slightly, allowing Hugh’s tongue to tangle with hers, he pulls back, his face flushed.
“You bastard,” Jo spat, tossing the divorce papers at his feet, she turned on her heel, storming from the room. “I hope you and her burn in hell together.”
“And I hope you stay in purgatory your whole life!” Jen yelled, as the door slammed.
“What. Just. Happened?” Peter looked between the door, Hugh, Lisa and the fallen divorce papers.
“I think Jo just divorced me,” Hugh replied simply, twisting his wedding ring off his finger. He raised it above his head, “Hugh Laurie’s wedding ring! Who wants it?”
Robbie made a grab for it and snatched it out of Hugh’s hands, “Can I be you now?” He frowned, “wait no, she was a bitch. Do any of you have any money?” Robert looked hopeful, “I want to melt it downnnn,” he added a humming effect to the end.
“Thank God,” Omar sighed, “She’s worse than Amber, no offense Robert, but Wilson has horrible taste.”
“Do I have good taste?” Hugh asked, wrapping a comforting arm around Lisa’s shoulders and kissing her cheek. Lisa giggled and wrapped her arm around Hugh, leaning on his side for support.
“Uhm,” Jesse laughed, “maybe you should ask Lisa that,” he suggested, seeing Lisa pull Hugh in for a second, more passionate kiss than the one before. Immediately, Lisa’s tongue found it’s way towards Hugh’s lips, and after a few moments, moved forwards to tangle with his. Hugh’s hands gripped Lisa’s hips and he held her against him, allowing herself to press against him. Lisa’s hands moved between them, quickly unbuttoning the top few buttons on Hugh’s shirt, before, to the relief of everyone in the room, snaked around his neck.
“Let’s go,” Jen hissed, and quietly, the rest of the team left the room, leaving Hugh and Lisa in their own little world.

“I love you too Hugh Laurie.” She breathed, pulling a soft blanket over their entwined bodies and kissed Hugh’s lips quickly. Hugh smiled, wrapping an arm around Lisa’s waist and kissed her cheek, hoping that everyone would leave them alone for a while.
